Racing cancelled

Something of a wet weekend both indoors and out. Enjoyed talking rubbish in the Greenlawns and the Chainlocker whilst consuming copious quantities of alc `. Returned on Buster, 30 odd ft double ender, Cornish to the keel beautiful !!
Didn`t stay long in the club singing terrible farting worse !

Last night in the club and the Pope

Regaled about sailing upwind using a compass (Tactic) to help respond to the shifts. I can`t believe the drivel you have to listen to in that place. We`re driving an Ajax 23ft open keel boat with 3 up, it takes me all my time to avoid falling over board in anything like a sea so the prospect of noting a compass bearing every 30 seconds is ludicrous. As for having the crew barking out the readings, well, I would rather listen to 100 repeats of "Songs Of  Praise"

Talking of which the POPE has commenced his descent on Edinburgh, welcome to Britain and sorry about the weather, must be a bit of a shock after Rome.

Uni challenge was last night so hopefully Den will be there.

No reply from Tone

Kept close watch on new blog and first post. Nothing from Tone not a phone call, post card, email  nothing. Get a feeling all this google stuff is billocks (Just a nautical expression) and Tone is above it all. Then again he does,`t clear his desk until the end of the month so I suppose he`s still got a few things to do. Tell Obama where he can sling his hook for a start, antifoul BOB, lunch with the Queen stuff like that.

Bye the way that`s Tone in the middle on the rail of  BOB, shame isn`t it, you can tell he`s pissed off .!!
